My name is Kathy Moore and I have been teaching at St. Rose since 1985 (39 years). I started at the junior high level and currently am the first grade tutor. I continue to be find teaching an extremely rewarding career and am thankful for my years at St. Rose. I strongly believe in Catholic education and find it a privilege to be a part of this very important mission of building Catholic, educational and social foundations.

I have two children, Ty and Casey and in my free time enjoy reading and spending time with my friends. 

Comprehension, decoding and writing skills are a major part of our first grade reading course of study. We also develop addition and subtraction skills along with place value and telling time in Math classes.

In addition, we integrate religious values and Gospel Guidelines across the curriculum and have all grade levels participate and plan masses.
