I am a graduate of St. Rose and Lima Central Catholic. I received my Bachelor's in Education from Bluffton College. I taught in the public schools for 7 years, before taking time off to raise our children. My husband and I have 3 children. I returned to teaching in 2014 when our youngest started kindergarten at St. Rose.
I love being the school librarian and teaching our students library and research skills. As the librarian, I want to inspire our students to read and find books that inspire them. I am determined to build our library with new authors and books for our students. I see grades pre-k 3 through 5 for class and book checkout every week and grades 6-8 come once a week to check out books.
We have a book fair twice every year when parent-teacher conferences are held and the profits from those are used to buy books for our library.
