Mrs. Lisa Davisson

I am a graduate of St. Rose and Lima Central Catholic. I received my Bachelor's in Education from Bluffton College. I taught in the public schools for 7 years, before taking time off to raise our children. My husband and I have 3 children. I returned to teaching in 2014 when our youngest started kindergarten at St. Rose.
I currently teach Pre-k through 8th technology and Pre-k through 4th music.
In technology, the primary grades focus on mouse skills and basic computer vocabulary and use. the intermediate grades begin learning keyboarding, how to use search the internet, and how to use Google Docs. Slides and Sheets. In the junior high, keyboarding proficiency continues and projects using Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are completed. All the grades learn Digital Citizenship and Internet Safety each year.
In music class, the students learn about beat and rhythm and keeping the beat and rhythm in various songs using both their bodies and instruments. The basic notes, quarter, eighth, two-eights, and quarter rest are introduced. They also learn basic songs and chants. Each grade level builds on these concepts adding more in depth knowledge. We will also spend some time learning some of the songs we will sing at school Masses.
