Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to navigate our website and learn about St. Rose Catholic School.

I am a mother of 6, ages 11 - 25 and a grandma to 1 precious grandson.  I moved to Lima in 1995, from Milwaukee, WI. I earned my GED and attended OSU-Lima, where I started my education in social work and worked as an aide/helper in the Lima City School system. I enjoyed working as a home health care provider from 2014-2020 where I was responsible for the care and well-being of an individual's daily needs.

I joined the St. Rose family in 2019, working in the Latch Key program. I became an aide in the 2020-2021 school year. I have two children currently enrolled at St. Rose and one at Lima Central Catholic. I enjoy working with children of all ages and feel blessed to be a part of a wonderful atmosphere where students learn and grow academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially.

Welcome to St. Rose!

Hello! My name is Stephanie Riepenhoff. My love for children has led to a career in Education. I have an Associate of Applied Science Early Childhood Education Degree.  I have been part of the St. Rose family since 2002 when my husband Michael and I decided to send our oldest to Kindergarten here. Our two other children, Cecilia and Michael Jay both followed and all three  graduated from Lima Central Catholic. What I love most about St. Rose from a parent and teacher perspective is that your child isn’t just another number in a school system, they are part of a very special school family.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family and visit my new grandson Jax in Florida as often as possible! I like to take our family dog Brody for walks and be outside in the sunshine.

I have created a classroom that feels like a home for my students. I want them to feel secure and loved just as much as they do at their own homes. In our preschool program my children learn to be compassionate, confident, loving and become a good friend to their peers. Of course we will learn, have fun and they will learn about their faith and God's Creation.

I am very lucky to have such a wonderful  group of talented  teachers and staff to work with everyday!

Hello, I'm the Jr. High Math and Religion as well as 7th grade homeroom teacher. I graduated from ONU in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and Music. I returned to the Catholic Church in 2019 while studying for ordained ministry in the Anglican tradition, ending that career path.  Transferring my knowledge and passion for Our Lord from ministry to education was a very natural and welcome step.  I have greatly enjoyed my time at St Rose, getting to know the students, staff, and families, and have learned a lot during my first year, and  look forward to years to come!

Hello my name is Kara Hartman, and this is my fourth year servicing students at St. Rose. I graduated from Wapakoneta City Schools in 2011. I continued my education at the University of Toledo where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in 2015 and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017.

I currently live in Lima with my husband Chris, son and two cats. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, spending time with my sund and two nieces, playing piano, and working on small projects around the house. I am also involved in the children’s ministry at my church.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, my scope of practice in the schools includes working with students who have difficulty with articulation, receptive/expressive language, literacy, fluency, voice, social skills, and/or hearing.

I am excited for another year at St. Rose working with wonderful students alongside some fantastic staff! Please feel free to contact me anytime you have  questions or concerns about your child’s speech/language skills.
